Our Border Shovel is hand crafted from a Red Oak wooden handle with a stainless steel alloy shovel head. Like the Border Spade, the border shovel is perfect for planting in tightly packed gardens. Additionally, the reduced size of this tool offers it up for many other applications. The small, pointed blade makes penetrating dense soil less arduous than a larger, blunter shovel and the shortness of the tool as a whole is easier to wield when kneeling or while using two tools simultaneously.
